Our Hotel's name means "The Executioner" and it is located at the boundary of the Historic Centre of the City, where, in the Middle Ages, the Town Wall stood. A section of it still remains, namely the Executioner's Gate, the only spot at which he was allowed to enter the town - and then solely in order to carry out his grisly work. Hence our name.
